REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Only unpublished work OR work published in by a company that allows reprints with no permission is eligible for this competition and entrants are agreeing that their entry (or entries) is their own original unpublished/unperformed work, or has the right to republish by submitting.

    • Previous publication is considered to include on or in a newspaper, newsletter, magazine, anthology, chapbook, book, website, electronic magazine, personal blog, Instagram, Twitter, or Facebook.

    • It is a curtsey to tell publishers if your work is no longer available if your work is still being reviewed by them and it has been accepted elsewhere.

  2. All Genres are welcomed.

    1. 2500 word max [Flexible, but not too flexible].​

    2. Visual Art can be in color

      1. We accept audio such as podcast, interviews, and other media as well for our monthly issue.

  3. Please specify if the architecture of your piece is critical to remain during publication. We accept:

    • Google Doc

    • Word Doc

  4. Accepted pieces will be officially notified by email.

    1. Monthly submissions may be set to publish 1-4 months out.​

  5. The author retains the copyright to his or her prose and/or poem(s).

  6. Entry is taken to express agreement to all competition rules by participants.

TYPE OF ENTRIES:

  1. Rolling Submissions [Published monthly as entries permit]:

    • $5.00 for pieces equal to or less than 1250 words.​

    • $10.00 for pieces equal to or less than 2500 words.

  2. Issue Submissions [Published Yearly in December]:

    • $5.00 per accepted piece.​

    • $100.00 cash prize based on audience vote to one writer in the issues.​

CROWD'S FAVORITE

  • Engage with your readers: "Crowd's Favorite" is a competition held in each issue of our magazine, allowing the audience to actively participate.​

  • Live polling: After publication, a live poll is conducted for three months, giving readers the opportunity to vote for their favorite submission of the current issue.

  • Amplify your recognition: Gain recognition and support from our engaged community as they rally behind their preferred piece.

  • Exciting rewards: The winner of "Crowd's Favorite" receives a cash prize of $100.00 and the satisfaction of knowing their work resonated with our audience.
